Tell me about Wisconsin Dells
Looking for random conversation, some good laughs and the occasional bargain? Here's your group.
Please review the additional guidelines that will be enforced on top of the Community Guidelines, in order to maintain a friendly environment that is welcoming to all:
4. Profanity is no longer censored, but please think about who may be reading your posts before you use it. Many people here post from work or have their children with them. This includes helping a friendinneed here in the BabyCenter Community.
7. Calling a community member a Troll is considered a personal attack by Babycenter, sac michael kors, and such posts will be deleted.
8. You may not post links to your website or a friend's website within a post. If you have a website you would like to share with the requestor, you must ask them to pass you a note if they are interested. You may NOT pass them a note about your business unless they explicitly state they would like people to pass them a note with their business link. Doing so unsolicited is a violation of the following portion of Babycenter's Selling Guidelines:
Please note that if someone sends you an unsolicited note, journal entry or talk that is commercial or personal business related, this is a violation of these rules. We'd appreciate it if you'd let us know so that we can address the issue.
Share your tips on saving money and where to find the best bargains, deals, freebies. We also like to throw in a lot of off topics and a little bit of drama.
It depends on what you want to do. Paul Bunyan's is amazing, Moose Jaw Pizza is a must. is a kids' interactive circus before the magic show and big top), go to the Deer Park, experience the Tommy Bartlett Exploratorium, have fun with Wizard Quest or MagiQuest, and a lot more. Timbavati Wildlife Park should be opening soon (used to be Storybook Gardens) it wasn't quite ready when we were there.
We always go to Ishnala for our anniversary when we visit (we just got back two weeks ago.) My SIL has a bigger budget and really said the K. Brothers Steak House (?) was ridiculously amazing (though it was very costly.)
If you're going to a waterpark, you need to go midweek (Weds.) do NOT try to go to Noah's Ark or Mt. Olympus outdoor parks on a weekend. It's insanely crowded and the lines are ridiculous. We are burn conscious and all did Kalahari on a Wednesday. The indoor portion had no lines, the outdoor had minimal lines.
If you're camping, be aware that there have been burn bans in the Dells area on and off, which makes for issues for those who want to grill out at a campsite.
Definitely find a coupon book, there are great deals out there. I'm not usually lurking on this board but saw the post. PAN me if you have questions. If you have any concerns about your own health or the health of your child, you should always consult with a physician or other healthcare professional.
