Woman accused of selling fake designer goods from North Naples store Naples Daily News
A 42yearold woman faces felony charges of selling fake designer goods after deputies uncovered counterfeit purses, shoes, jewelry and accessories from a North Naples store bearing her name after a month of investigation, according to the Collier County Sheriff's Office.
Dana Lisi Klein, 42, 87 East Ave., North Naples, was arrested Wednesday and charged with selling forged goods over $1,000. 41 N., on May 24, 2007, and uncovered fake handbags, watches, sunglasses and other merchandise bearing labels from 21 trademark designers such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Burberry, Chanel, and Prada with an estimated value of $526,600.

Jewelry, shoes and sunglasses were displayed on card tables covered in black cloth, reports said. Cartier watches were displayed on a plastic rack, along with Tiffany, Gucci, Chanel and Louis Vuitton necklaces and bracelets, reports said.
The undercover deputy selected a black Louis Vuitton purse priced at $75; the manufacturer's suggested retail price for that purse ranges from $600 to $3,750, reports said.
The undercover deputy proceeded to the checkout area, which consisted of a card table with a makeup bag containing a large amount of money inside and a small credit card terminal, reports said.
When the undercover deputy asked for a receipt, a store employee said none would be given because the deputy paid cash, reports said. The employee also told the deputy that an exchange would still be possible even without a receipt, reports said.

Further investigation by CCSO revealed the purse purchased by the undercover deputy was counterfeit and not a genuine Louis Vuitton.
